What does the Bible say about the scoffers and those who reject the truth?

The blind are leading the blind. They're going to the ditch. -David Wilkerson, A Friend of Sinners-

To those who are embracing this new Christianity and new age theology the Bible calls such people "reprobates." I found the word "reprobate" used four times in the King James Version. Each one describes the days we are living in. Professing to know God but their actions offend God (Titus 1:16Bible quoteThey profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.Titus 1 verse 16). Refusing to humble oneself or repent but at all times defending these offenses. Calling good evil and evil good (Isaiah 5:20Bible quoteWoe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!Isaiah 5 verse 20, 2 Timothy 3:7-9Bible quote(verse 7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(verse 8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

(verse 9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.2 Timothy 3 verses 7-9
). No self-control (2 Timothy 3:3Bible quoteWithout natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.2 Timothy 3 verse 3). Committing abominable evils in secret believing no one sees them but God sees them (Romans 1:26-28Bible quote(verse 26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

(verse 27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

(verse 28) And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;Romans 1 verses 26-28
). Murdering people with their mouths and actions and calling it the move of God in their life (Proverbs 12:18Bible quoteThere is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.Proverbs 12 verse 18, Proverbs 18:21Bible quoteDeath and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.Proverbs 18 verse 21, James 3:8Bible quoteBut the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.James 3 verse 8).

There is no way to speak to a reprobate mind except to respond with scripture and walk away. I have been hearing Jack Van Impe say the same thing that far less than half the world will ever make the rapture. When judgment day comes all these people will be forced to acknowledge their wicked acts.

Jeremiah 23:11

For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 23:11

New Testament writers warned about false teachings that sounded good but defied truth (2 Timothy 4:3Bible quote For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;2 Timothy 4 verse 3; 1 John 4:1Bible quoteBeloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.1 John 4 verse 1). Believers today must still heed these warnings! Ungodly leaders subtly twist truth with such conviction that unprepared Christians can be charmed by their lies (Jeremiah 7:3-4Bible quote(verse 3) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

(verse 4) Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, [are] these.Jeremiah 7 verses 3-4
). That's why the Bible instructs us to evaluate the message of whoever desires to lead us (Matthew 7:20Bible quoteWherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.Matthew 7 verse 20). The false teacher is deceptive. Matthew 7:15Bible quoteBeware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.Matthew 7 verse 15 of today's passage describes him as a wolf in sheep's clothing. He appears to want people to know the "real" truth about God, but his interpretation of Scripture may contain outright lies or a distorted mix of fact and error. Since wise believers study God's Word, they can detect a "sheepskin" starting to slip. The wolf is further exposed by his personal life, which won't be consistent with righteousness (Matthew 7:16Bible quoteYe shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?Matthew 7 verse 16). A close study of his decisions, actions, and words will reveal that he does not follow the Lord's will or biblical principles. The false teacher's life and message are self-indulgent. His enticing ideas appeal to his listeners' fleshly nature. In fact, he'll often permit activities prohibited in Scripture. Some deceivers describe God's grace as a license to live without restraint (Jude 1:4Bible quoteFor there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.Jude 1 verse 4). Paul clearly denounces this lie, teaching that believers have died to sin and shouldn't live in it (Romans 6:2Bible quoteGod forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?Romans 6 verse 2). The body of Christ is expected to use Scripture as the standard against which to measure a leader's lifestyle and words. When we seek divine truth, we are given the discernment to know a holy message from a misleading one. —Unknown

Outside a grocery store one evening, I watched two young men confronting shoppers with an erroneous statement about scriptural teaching. Anyone who seemed vague about Christian faith was invited to learn "what God really said" at a Bible study. I was not invited. In fact, the men abandoned me quickly when I used the Word to defend my beliefs. A FALSE TEACHER wants to create uncertainty in his listeners. In order to gain followers, he must persuade his audience that he possesses knowledge they lack. The people who accept this misleading information as absolute truth will usually return to the false teacher for more. Having followers stroke his ego provides "proof" that he is right. Those who have a sound doctrine won't be led astray. That's why it is so important for our faith to rest on biblical truth--for example, Jesus Christ died for the sins of mankind, the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, and Christians will be resurrected bodily. Defeating false teachers takes more than "my pastor says . . ." When confronted, WE MUST DEFEND OUR FAITH WITH SCRIPTURE we ourselves have studied. By regularly reading and applying God's Word, we will be better prepared when confronted with untruth. Building a sound doctrine protects believers from misleading messages and arms them to defend the faith. Do not be caught unprepared. If you haven't already started, begin to study the Bible today. Should you need help, ask your pastor or a godly mentor for guidance. -Unknown

Nasty Names given to Church Whistleblowers

I personally was labeled a jezebel and people treated me like I was the one who was damned. These people caught up in Satan's web of demonic ecstasy are incapable of seeing the truth. Below is a list that Holly from put together along with some words that her viewers posted. I thought this was interesting enough to share here.

The NAR's Nasty Names

If Hitler said the sky is blue, then does that mean you can discount his claim simply because it was Hitler who said so?

Of course not! If the sky is blue, then it is blue–regardless of who says it’s blue. Truth is truth, regardless of the source.

Yet, apostles and prophets in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)A movement within Protestant Christianity that embraces present-day apostles and prophets who claim they govern the church and give new divine revelation needed to set up God's EARTHLY kingdom. movement frequently try to dismiss the arguments of their critics simply by calling them nasty names.

These are the Top 5 nasty names used against critics of the NAR:

Has anyone ever applied one of these labels to you? Can you think of others I missed?

NOTE: Holly's viewers have added the following additional names and comments. I too have been labeled some of these names and more for exposing the truth and for naming names. -POR Admin-
