Biblical Signs vs. Satanic Signs

This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. No one knows the day or the hour that the Lord will return (Matthew 24:36But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.Matthew 24 verse 36, Mark 13:32But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.Mark 13 verse 32), but the Bible says that we will know the 'season' of the Lord's return (Matthew 24:32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:Matthew 24 verse 32, Matthew 24:34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.Matthew 24 verse 34, Mark 13:30Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.Mark 13 verse 30, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 9-12(verse 3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(verse 9) [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

(verse 10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

(verse 11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

God says we will see "signs" to identify the season of Jesus' return." The Bible also says this is an evil generation whom seek a 'sign' (Mark 8:12And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.Mark 8 verse 12, Luke 11:29And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.Luke 11 verse 29). So is this a contradiction? No.

Biblical Signs

The BIBLICAL SIGNS to look for will be 'signs and wonders' referring to earthquakes, changing weather patterns, famines, pestilences (Matthew 24:7, 24(verse 7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

(verse 24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.Matthew 24 verses 7, 24 and Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.Mark 13 verse 8), a great falling away from the faith (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 9-12(verse 3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(verse 31) So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.Luke 21 verses 29-31 and more!). The Bible even says that we will be groaning for the Lord's return but so shall the earth be GROANING and TRAVAILING in pain waiting to see the coming of the Lord. So shall the stones also cry out for the coming of the Lord Romans 8:22-23(verse 22)For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

(verse 23) And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.Romans 8 verses 22-23 and Luke 19:40And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.Luke 19 verse 40.

Satanic Signs

The SATANIC SIGNS (fake, false, counterfeit signs attempting to imitate the power of God) that we see going on are fake healings, fake miracles and other satanic signs. These signs are created and manifested by Satan and his demons. Satan too can heal people, the prosperity movement- seeking monetary and material wealth, vain and self-seeking manifestations, all the weird manifestations going on that are not spoken of in the Bible— apparitions, bright lights or orbs, smoke, manna, gold dust, levitation, and much more (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12(verse 7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.

(verse 8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

(verse 9) [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2 Thessalonians 2 verses 7-12).

The Lord asks us to be 'watchful.' (Ephesians 6:13-20(verse 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

(verse 14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

(verse 15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

(verse 16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

(verse 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

(verse 18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

(verse 19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

(verse 20) For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.Ephesians 6 verses 13-20, 2 Timothy 4:5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.2 Timothy 4 verse 5, 1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.1 Peter 4 verse 7). For when you hear people say there is 'peace and safety' (1 Thessalonians 5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.1 Thessalonians 5 verse 3), then it is time to look up.

The Bible says that not only will we see signs and wonders in the sky and on the earth but there will come a great persecution of Christians, lawlessness and lewdness. (Matthew 13:21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.Matthew 13 verse 21, Mark 4:17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.Mark 4 verse 17, Acts 8:1And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.Acts 8 verse 1, Acts 11:19Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.Acts 11 verse 19, Acts 13:50But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.Acts 13 verse 50, Romans 8:35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Romans 8 verse 35, Galatians 5:11And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.Galatians 5 verse 11)

Do you see the differences between the SIGNS that Jesus asks us to look for? And those which are NOT of God? So how do we know if what we SEE or FEEL or HEAR is from God, ..............or the devil?

The 'signs' that Jesus asks us to look for point to HIS RETURN, the RAPTURE! The 'signs' that this generation seeks that the Bible calls "evil" are strange, physical manifestations that people assume came from God but they are really tricks of the devil and nothing new to the occult.
