Witnessing for Jesus
The Great Commission: World missions and sharing 'Jesus Christ' with others around you
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:16-20

People today in America who call themselves "missionaries" are a disgrace to Christianity. I am sure that there must a few genuinely called people who travel to present the gospel of Christ around the world, but I am talking about the majority of people these days who are travelling outside of America on the funds of church members primarily for a "VACATION," flaunting their pretty clothes, living like kings and queens, and when they do one nice thing for someone then they call themselves a missionary. And throughout the entire EMBARRASSING trip they have taken on behalf of "AMERICANS" and in the name of Jesus Christ they admit there was no presenting the gospel to anyone. No preaching about Jesus, or the Cross, or salvation, or sin, or repentance... nothing. It was all fun and games for the Americans to show off their wealth. This is a tragedy!
I am ashamed as an American for those who do this. Mega churches behave this way and they send young people on these trips too. I once worked with a young girl who said she went with her church on one of these mission trips. Five minutes later she was snubbing me, looking for the pornographic channel on the television at work, using foul language and telling dirty, filthy jokes.
The people who do this make me want to vomit. Do they think that people in other countries cannot tell what they are doing? Well, I believe that many do see through this "counterfeit Christianity" facade, and they are not impressed. In fact, this fake christianity is turning people away from hearing the true gospel and from getting to know the real Jesus.
You do not need to join a large ministry or any ministry or be on television in order to do mission work. In fact, the Lord NEVER NEEDED TELEVISION in order to get His message throughout the world. Televangelist have sown huge lies over the centuries in order to get money from people. What the Lord needs is missionaries. People in countries outside of America do not need some expensively dressed, greedy, narcississtic preacher flying over in their unnecessary flashy jetliner showing off all their material possessions while selling their lies of some prosperity gospel. The Lord needs genuine disciples doing His work. People who are ready to get down in the trenches. People who are ready to lay their lives down for Him. People who are ready to DIE for Him.
As Christians we are ALL called to be witnesses to the unbelieving and lost.
We all can reach the lost in our workplaces, churches, community, our own backyard. You do not have to be a televangelist or carry some title in order to pray for people and they be healed. I urge people to think about this and keep your eyes on Jesus, not man. The world notices but the world does not know the difference between a real Christian and Satan's decoys professing to be Christian. The Bible says we will be known by our "fruits." I have been talking repeatedly about these "fruits" on this website because it is a very valuable scripture to recognize (Matthew 7:15-20(verse 15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
(verse 16) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
(verse 17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
(verse 18) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
(verse 19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
(verse 20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.Matthew 7:15-20 ,
Galatians 5:22-26(verse 22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(verse 23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(verse 24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(verse 25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(verse 26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.Galatians 5 verses 22-26).
The "fruits of the spirit" have absolutely nothing to do with big crowds or messages that appeal to your itching ears. These "fruits" are about "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance..." (verses 22-23). Read The 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
The greatest commandment, the Bible says, is to love one another
(Matthew 22:36-40(verse 36) Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
(verse 37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
(verse 38) This is the first and great commandment.
(verse 39) And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(verse 40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.Matthew 22 verses 36-40)
and to preach the great commission (the gospel) to all the world
(Colossians 1:24-29(verse 24) Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
(verse 25) Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
(verse 26) [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
(verse 27) To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
(verse 28) Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
(verse 29) Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.Colossians 1 verses 24-29).
I believe that Satan's decoys are creating a great hatred towards real Christians. These people are our enemies and loving our enemies can often be so difficult. I personally struggle with this everyday but to love one another is one of the "fruits" of the spirit. These "fruits" are what will bring God's anointing and draw people to Jesus.

Let me say that again.
"THESE 'FRUITS' ARE WHAT WILL BRING GOD's ANOINTING AND DRAW PEOPLE TO JESUS," not to 'man.' It was NEVER 'MAN's' ministry. It was always JESUS' ministry.
We are supposed to be HIS SERVANTS, not the other way around as so many false teachers and false prophets would have people believe.
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with [them] and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:15-20 (NKJV)(verse 15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(verse 16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(verse 17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
(verse 18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
(verse 19) So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
(verse 20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark 16 (KJV) verses 15-20
Learning to share your faith... When I gave my heart to Jesus Christ as teen one of the ways that I know that it was real is this. That I had a deep, deep desire to share what happened to me with my brother, and with my sister, and with my friends. I wanted them to know the Jesus I had met. Let me say this to you. If you don't have a desire to give your faith away maybe you ought to give it up. You know, we're not merely told to keep the faith. We're told to share it. Now we talk about a love worth finding. Well, friend, if it is a love worth finding would you not agree that it is a love worth sharing? -Adrian Rogers, Learning to Share Jesus-
