... last night as I watched TBN. They were talking about a lady who considered herself married to Jesus and she never married a 'moral' man. That part was alright, I guess, but then they went on to explain how she would fix her hair, put on makeup and wear a sheer nightgown each night so she would be attractive 'as she slept in the arms of her husband (Jesus). I swear I nearly fell off my chair watching that...it was SO not appropriate, and kinda had sexual overtones. BRAVO!!! Long story short: my husband is the pastor of a tiny church here in TN. As is typical in the ministry, we live on slim finances, a very simple life. One day I found my husband in front of TBN in tears. Benny Hinn was begging US for a gift of $1,000 so he could upgrade his cameras! I was furious! My husband was discouraged! When the money started rolling in, sound doctrine went out! the leaven grew and grew and permeated the church with its language and rethoric, the TITHE became the ‘golden calf’ that delivers instead of Christ.

Just because something grows doesn’t mean it meets with Gods approval, there are millions of Jehovahs witnesses, Mormons and Muslims whos view of Christ and salvation contradicts each other and the Bible.

People always pronounce death threats when they know deep down their religion stands on a shakey foundation Matthew 7:26-27(verse 26) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Yes, the Baker’s and the Crouch’s had very close tithes. We even recall Tammy sitting on a previous show with Jan Crouch boasting about how they both were like two white doves cleaning out their facility they would soon make into a television studio. You noticed how we just recalled, ‘white doves’? Now, that is enough to tell you right there they were in the wrong spirit. Therefore, they always pretended to be Christians, but they really were always out just to get everybody’s money, all races. So, of course, when you do not reach all races for Jesus Christ, but only just to become millionaires, God won’t allow it to last. So, jealousy, violence, lust and everything else follows. Many have apparently been taken in by the FALSE DOCTRINES and glittery facade of Trinity Broadcasting Network. Televangelists Paul and Jan Crouch often brag on their program that they do not represent an "organized religious" movement and are in no way tied to any denomination of value or long-standing.

They also brazenly state they do not give account to "man-made government groups" for how they use the funds so generously given to them by their viewers. What they are really saying is that they are yet another obvious, though more SOPHISTICATED, CULT GROUP that shamelessly bilks the elderly, lonely and homebound of pensions and Social Security checks.
