Anyone who continues to cling to the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), and other religious broadcasting, and these apostate preachers scares me. If a preacher is not talking about this falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:3Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.2 Thessalonians 2 verse 3) then it is because they are part of it. Below is a quote from Christopher Gregory† .
Begin quote
I'm encountering more and more individuals who are claiming Christ who preach the word and suggest they are "born again", yet when I test their spirit (or teaching) they are producing, it's corrupt to the core. Many claim to have had a visitation, one woman who has a large following it seems, stated that she became "born again" by a mere visitation of either an angel, or, as she put it herself, God himself or "herself". When she claimed that God could be a woman proved she was of another spirit.
Yet, this is going on more and more in the church today. But what behooves me even more is the fact that Bible believing men and women, some I personally know, are falling for this junk! It astounds me. Let me be this bold since I'm not afraid of backlash, but I was in church not but a few weeks ago when Rod Parsley preached at our campmeeting, the thing was, he didn't preach! He stuttered over a few scriptures, threw some occasional tag lines out to get the crowd roaring, but not once did he call to pray for the sick (there were sick people there), but what did he do? He turned around and began to sell Bibles. Once again, the spirit of lucre popped up. TBN has ruined good men - including Parsley.
Understand, I'm not against men, but I'm against falsehood. I'm against pretense. I'm against foolishness. And most importantly, I'm against men manipulating people for money.
Yet, more and more, I'm seeing men (and women) depart from preaching the cross and begin to preach something else, and it confirms to me the warning the Apostle Paul said would happen in the latter days, that men would DEPART FROM TRUTH and give ear to SEDUCING SPIRITS and DOCTRINES OF DEMONS. Welcome to the end times.
Just recently I witnessed a young man, a "prophet" who associates with Benny Hinn, and literally was proven to be a fraud, yet the people shouted and cheered over this man, even though his "prophecy" was wrong and his whole scheme was to get $5,000 dollars from another preacher! That's right, this young "prophet" prophesied over a preacher and told him that God said for the preacher to sow a seed of $5,000 dollars into HIS ministry and by doing so, this man of God would receive several million in return. Amazing. Yet, this is what's taking place in many churches today.
Again, do not be deceived folks, for Satan has literally transformed himself into an angel of light and is deceiving many (2 Corinthians 11:14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.2 Corinthians 11 verse 14). We need to weigh each word people preach and line it up with the word of God, if it doesn't line up, then something's up. Don't just take anyone's word, but line everything up (even my teachings) with God's word. Sure, we may disagree on certain non-essentials, but if it's not Jesus Christ and him crucified, then something is seriously wrong.
Not long ago I was flipping through the channels and came across Jesse Duplantis, so I listened for a few minutes and what he said was flat out wrong! Actually, he literally was lying about Bible facts and I'm shouting "You're lying!" at the tv. He literally changed the entire truth in the word for a lie. Yet, no one called him out on it. But the church today has become so illiterate when it comes to Bible knowledge that many are being deceived because of slick salesmen. We must weigh everything against the word, because we are in the end time last days and Satan is deceiving many. Will you be deceived as well? -Christopher Gregory†-

†While we at POR agree with many things that Christopher Gregory has said we do not endorse him because he thinks himself to be a prophet and he is not.
