How can I get to know God
The answer is simple. What Billy Graham states below is true, but the simple answer to getting to know God is STUDY HIS WORD. Do NOT depend on someone else to feed you what the Bible says. READ and STUDY it for yourself!
In these last days we are seeing the great falling away spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.2 Thessalonians 2 verse 3. If you are studying God's Word on your own then God Himself will reveal things to you and you then will be able to recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing, the apostate preachers.
Without studying the Word of God on your own you will not only NOT know God but you will be led astray by doctrines of demons that appear to be of God. The Bible says that even Satan can transform himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.2 Corinthians 11 verse 14). Satan has a counterfeit for everything that belongs to God and he is deceiving people with lying signs and wonders right now.
Study God's Word. Memorize scripture as much as you can. Be alert to the devils schemes.
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 (NIV)Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.1 Peter 5 (KJV) verse 8

There is nothing more satisfying than to know God in a personal way. God loves you and gave His Son to die on the cross for you. He gave His life as a divine sacrifice that you might be forgiven of sin and have eternal life.
Jesus said, "I am come that they might have [eternal] life." John 10:10bThe thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.John 10 verse 10
This is God's free gift to every one of us. The Bible teaches that we are all sinners (Romans 3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.Romans 3 verse 23) and deserve the penalty of sin, which is separation from God. When we realize that our sins separate us from Him, it is our privilege and responsibility to turn from sin unto Christ in true repentance, with faith in Him as Savior and Lord. In taking this step we become a part of God's family; see John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name.John 1 verse 12.
To receive Christ as Savior is a transforming experience. Not only do we gain a new dimension of joy, peace and purity, but we find all things become new; see 2 Corinthians 5:17Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2 Corinthians 5 verse 17.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
