What does the BIBLE say about Judging Others
Judgment Begins at the House of God
(1 Peter 4:17-18(verse 17) For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(verse 18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?1 Peter 4 verses 17-18)
Is 'Judging' biblical? Here is why we judge the house of God Ezekiel 3:16-21(verse 16) And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
(verse 17) Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
(verse 18) When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
(verse 19) Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
(verse 20) Again, When a righteous [man] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
(verse 21) Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous [man], that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.Ezekiel 3 verses 16-21 and

How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Luke 6:42
Then we read:
Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. I charge [you] before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. 1 Timothy 5:20-21
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them]. Ephesians 5:11
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell [it] to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Matthew 18:15-17
People like to pick out one scripture in the Bible to defend whatever feels good to them. I wish to examine all the scriptures and I challenge you to take time to study all the scriptures. Jesus was not contradicting when He said these things. The following pages are very lengthy but they explain the scriptures and why we judge.
Adhering to correct doctrine and correcting those in error is not a hateful action, it is a loving commandment! Let's see what Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 1. Read A Loving Commandment.
The 'False Love Trap' of Not Judging
Rather than deal with the sin, they [counterfeit Christians] try to switch the blade by crying 'DON'T JUDGE.' (John 8:48, 53(verse 48) Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
(verse 53) Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?John 8 verses 48, 53) Who are you? Why are you judging us? This strikes me as what is happening in the whole charismatic movement today and evangelical circles everywhere and it shocks me. The anger that should be directed at their own sin is turned around and directed at the reprover. Jesus is reproving them and they say 'now wait a minute.' They turned the tables and they said "No, you're the one with the devil...you got a devil in you...if you were God then you would recognize it. You're wrong because judging is a sin... I don't want any preacher telling me what to do. I don't want anybody telling me what to do. I know I'm alright with God. I am not going to let anybody tell me any different." -David Wilkerson, Counterfeit Christianity-
Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? Luke 12:57
What a clever device that is being used by the devil these last days to cover up false doctrine. He uses it to cover up sin in the pulpit and in the pew. The cry everywhere today is 'don't judge' because you are trying to hinder unity. I call it a 'FALSE LOVE TRAP'....there is no unity outside of holiness. There is no unity outside of walking in His righteousness. We are one because we come under The Word. We come under the power of this Word. We surrender to The Word. We are united at the cross of Jesus Christ and His shed blood. I am not going to walk with those who are not dealing with these issues that Jesus is dealing with. -David Wilkerson, Counterfeit Christianity-
This subject is very misunderstood in the Word of God. As nearly all the preachers and churches of this generation have gone apostate I see from searching through the internet on this subject that the world has a good grasp on not judging others. Some of these scriptures I list here are abused by both believers and nonbelievers. When people feel convicted by God then they love to retaliate by using these scriptures to justify their sin so they can live without any regard for morality or being held accountable to anyone. People 'think' that when they claim accountability to God alone that somehow God is going to just wink His eye at them and there will be no consequence and no punishment.
Judge not, that you be not judged. "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank [is] in your own eye? "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Matthew 7:1-5
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ...Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way. Romans 14:10, 13
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 1 Corinthians 4:3-5
