What does the BIBLE say about Judging Others

Judgment Begins at the House of God (1 Peter 4:17-18Bible quote(verse 17) For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?

(verse 18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?1 Peter 4 verses 17-18
)

Is 'Judging' biblical? Here is why we judge the house of God Ezekiel 3:16-21Bible quote(verse 16) And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

(verse 17) Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

(verse 18) When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

(verse 19) Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

(verse 20) Again, When a righteous [man] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

(verse 21) Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous [man], that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.Ezekiel 3 verses 16-21
and Ezekiel 33 warns us to be WATCHMAN

Blind Beliefs

I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?

But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! 1 Corinthians 6:1-6

What a shame it is for people who claim to be Christians and yet they stick their heads in the sand when they need to be standing up publicly against all these apostate preachers and sin going on in the churches. What a shame it is that such people will talk amongst themselves in private, gossip or bad mouth others but refuse to do as Jesus would do. To speak to our Christian brother or sister giving them opportunity to repent. God expects us to judge each other. We open the door to the sin. God does the 'convicting.'

For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:17-18

People want to take one scripture out of the Bible, out of context, because it fits their lifestyle and what they want to do and people will stand on it with all their might. Such people need to read the entire Bible and study the scriptures from cover to cover. What is God going to do with all the weak, pansy, jellyfish Christians who refuse to speak up?

Reminds me of the end of the movie "Judgment" when the heathens put God on trial. Helen Hannah's attorney gave an example of something to the effect of "What if everybody really wanted to believe that 2 + 2 = 5? We know that it equals '4' but what if the majority group of people really wanted to believe that it equalled '5.' Would that make it right?"

I continue to find that many of these people who scream "You have no right to judge me!" and then hide their heads in the sand ALWAYS have something to hide. Instead of dealing with conviction and turning to God to change, people run and hide as if God and everyone else will never know. Better to deal with the problem now and make your life right with God now because you may not have tomorrow.

There are those who can't make clear judgements on issues and misuse the verse to judge not. Many do not realize they are to judge every prophecy, the fruit in our lives and in the lives of others, and on and on. You need to judge everything you see, hear or read. If not, you will be submitted to every wind of evil doctrine and fall into many hurtful traps. I once heard a pastor tell his people they should not criticize him even when he is wrong, neither should they talk about him. I have seen strange things in that church: an unusually large number of divorces, illegitimate children, crimes of theft and forced entry, idolatry, etc. People should be taught to properly make scriptural judgement. -www.demonbuster.com/charism2.html-

If you cannot stand up for Jesus and the truth of the Word of God now, then you will never stand later. Read Exodus 18:13-27.

You know if we don't judge righteous judgment were gonna be carried away by every wind and wave of doctrine (Titus 1:9-16Bible quote(verse 9) Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

(verse 10) For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

(verse 11) Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

(verse 12) One of themselves, [even] a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians [are] alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

(verse 13) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

(verse 14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

(verse 15) Unto the pure all things [are] pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving [is] nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

(verse 16) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.Titus 1 verses 9-16
, 2 Timothy 4:1-4Bible quote(verse 1) I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

(verse 2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

(verse 3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

(verse 4) And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.2 Timothy 4 verses 1-4
). And God help this church if the time ever came that we had pastors up here who were afraid to judge His righteous judgment... What kind of pastors would we be if we saw these doctrines of devils coming in? If we saw these fables coming in and we didn't stand up and bark to wake you up? I wouldn't be a shepherd. I would have no right to be in this pulpit. -David Wilkerson, Counterfeit Christianity-

This witness is true. Wherefore REBUKE THEM SHARPLY, that they may be sound in the faith. Titus 1:13

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; REPROVE, REBUKE, EXHORT with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

Why, then, is there no large-scale effort among Bible-believing evangelicals to expose, denounce, refute, and silence these false teachers? After all, that is what Scripture commands church leaders to do when we encounter purveyors of soul-destroying substitutes for the true gospel:

The overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain (Titus 1:7-11Bible quote(verse 7) For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

(verse 8) But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

(verse 9) Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

(verse 10) For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

(verse 11) Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.Titus 1 verses 7-11
).

Those who remain silent in the face of such grotesque lies may in fact be partly responsible for turning people away from the truth. -John MacArthur, Read more Unholy Trinity: Outraged at TBN's Brazen False Teaching-
