(b) May last for awhile, but usually temporary

This is one fairly good indicator to test the difference between Divine and Paranormal/Demonic Healing. It is my studied opinion that this type of healing is usually temporary or a "shell game" as I previously indicated. Repeated treatments are necessary, either for the original problem or for the string of problems caused as a result of continued demonization.

(c) Usually hard to verify

There are very visual cases of this type of healing where people have apparently been healed, making it very hard to discern the difference between Biblical Divine and Paranormal/Demonic Healing. But for the most part this kind of healing is usually of problems that are hard, if not impossible, to verify. This is because Satan is the master of the occult, the hidden. He loves to makes fools of people with his lies and deception.

(d) All glory to man and the devil while lip service to God

This is the point to watch most closely. Test and see who gets the glory. In Biblical Divine Healing all the glory goes to God. In Paranormal/Demonic Healing glory to God may be given lip service, but most of the glory actually goes to men and the enemy. Satan, by causing people to place their faith in the "power", "it", "the river", "the force of faith" or some faith healing guru, usurps worship for himself that belongs to God. God does not use Paranormal/Demonic Healing to heal. God does not validate the work of shamans, faith healers, false teachers or false prophets. As stated before, Divine Healing can occur any time.

Paranormal/Demonic Healing is to be avoided at all costs. It is the most dangerous. It has nothing to do with Biblical Divine Healing as was demonstrated by Jesus Christ and the Apostles, but it can look the most like it of any of the modes of healing.

Examples

a root canal problem in the teeth

healed the lepers (Luke 17:11-19(verse 11) And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

(verse 12) And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

(verse 13) And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

(verse 14) And when he saw [them], he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

(verse 15) And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

(verse 16) And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

(verse 17) And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?

(verse 18) There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

caused the lame to walk (Matthew 9:1-8(verse 1) And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

(verse 2) And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

(verse 3) And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This [man] blasphemeth.

(verse 4) And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

(verse 5) For whether is easier, to say, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

(verse 6) But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

(verse 7) And he arose, and departed to his house.

(verse 8) But when the multitudes saw [it], they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.Matthew 9 verses 1-8)

restored a severed ear (Luke 22:49-51(verse 49) When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

(verse 50) And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

(verse 51) And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.Luke 22:49-51 )

The miracles that Jesus performed could be easily verified whereas fake healings are not. When God heals you then HE gets the glory for it and the healing is lasting. A fake/demonic healing is only temporary and MAN takes the glory for it.

One last important point to make here— you DO NOT NEED anyone else to pray for you in order to be healed. God can heal you by your own asking of Him. You do not have to go through some faith healer, and the cost is FREE.
