No Fear of God
The Fear of God Has Been Lost in the Church
Watch on youtube
I do not know who some of these preachers are in the above video but the comments are excellent. A couple of preachers in this video said:
"In Jeremiah's day the false prophets had the biggest crowds. The true prophet could hardly get folks together. In Jeremiah's day the thing that was so heavy on his heart was the false prophets told the people what they wanted to hear and the people naturally flocked and when he would start to prophesy the true Word of the Lord the people said 'Would you get this guy to shut up? Could somebody take care of this guy? We don't want to hear this anymore!'"
"But today a whole lot of people are learning about grace who haven't learned about the fear of God. You gotta learn the fear of God before you can appreciate the grace of God. Otherwise you get a FALSE GRACE."
I would say that this is what we see happening today, and I sense this same attitude of "shut up" and "we don't want to hear this" being said about me. I am NO PROPHET! A person does not have to be a "prophet" or teacher to speak the true Word of God. As Christians we are ALL responsible for sharing the Word of God with others (Mark 16:15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.Mark 16 verse 15, Acts 16:10And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.Acts 16 verse 10, Romans 1:15So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.Romans 1 verse 15, Romans 15:20Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation.Romans 15 verse 20, 1 Corinthians 1:17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.1 Corinthians 1 verse 17, and more!).
A church that is focused on prosperity, grace, signs, wonders, weird manifestations is one that is apostate and has NO FEAR of the LORD. We sure do see this happening with the counterfeit church.
Proverbs 6, I would say this is what we see happening right now. We who speak the truth have become a "menace" as Kim Clement once stated. Apostates are committing all sorts of evils and they are the ones who have no fear of the Lord.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. Proverbs 16:6
Here again is another verse which is obviously being ignored by apostates, and Kim Clement who stated that he was more concerned about people's "treasure" than sin.
Better is LITTLE with the fear of the LORD than great TREASURE and trouble therewith...The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. Proverbs 15:16, 33
If you look up the words "fear of the Lord" in the KJV you will find many Scriptures referencing the importance of fearing the Lord.
