'Once Saved, Always Saved' is it Truth or Fiction?

The false peace, false grace

Let me begin here with the favorite verse of the eternal security believer.

Once Saved Always Saved

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28

There is no contradiction. This verse in John is very clear. The Lord is telling us that Satan cannot steal our salvation. What mom and I have shared on these pages is scriptural support which indicates that a person who commits willful sin and makes a purposed decision not to serve the Lord will lose their salvation. You say "But anyone who would lose salvation that way was never a true Christian anyway." Well, the scriptures below indicate differently. And today we have an increasingly growing counterfeit church which appears to be worshiping Jesus and calls themselves Christian but they are imposters serving a false god.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 6:15

My Christian doctrine has become sharpened and polished through deliverance ministry as I have witnessed the powerlessness of certain so-called Christian teachings. The SRA victim I have mentioned believed within all her parts - because this is what she had been indoctrinated with by her satanist controllers who operated under cover in a church (her satanist uncle had been a pastor of it) - that 'ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED' and that salvation by grace means that we don't need to obey the commandments any more. These two heresies have ruined more deliverance than any others that I know of, with the exception of those that deny the full deity of Christ. And the reason why? It is because disobeying the commandments is what gives Satan legal access through demons in the first place! Pure and simple. -Deliverance: Do You Really Want It?, www.nccg.org-

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Jude 1:5

My mothers Nelson Study Bible has a subheading for these verses which reads "Old and New Apostates." The notes given on this verse points out these words "though ye once knew this" and says

"These Christians were given fair warning concerning false teachers from the words of Christ and the apostles (verses 17-18Bible quote(verse 17) But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ

(verse 18) How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.Jude 1 verses 17-18
) but they had become negligent and were no longer on guard."

In the second part of this verse, "destroyed them that believed not" these notes read that

"The Israelites of the Exodus had a magnificent beginning in Egypt but a disastrous ending in the wilderness. That we have begun with the Lord does not mean that we will have the glorious conclusion we might have envisioned at the beginning of our salvation journey. The false believers who had INFILTRATED God's people would be judged, just like the false believers who rejected God in the wilderness (see Numbers 25:1-9Bible quote(verse 1) And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

(verse 2) And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

(verse 3) And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

(verse 4) And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

(verse 5) And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.

(verse 6) And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who [were] weeping [before] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

(verse 7) And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw [it], he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

(verse 8) And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

(verse 9) And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.Numbers 25 verses 1-9
)."

Concerning a fallen Christian

Writer: NR Caetta | 23 July 2012

For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 2 Timothy 4:10

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, [and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked [man] doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? When a righteous [man] turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. Ezekiel 18:24-26

Speaking of Demas, a fellow Christian brother who worked with Paul in the ministry decided to leave because he loved this present world more. So he went back on God and back into the world and lost his soul.

For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame. Hebrews 6:4-6

Speaking of believers not progressing in the Lord. That is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have been partakers of the Holy Spirit etc. if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance. Their end is to be burned.

Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:4-7
