They can't see that they are bound. They get angry if you try to show them. The Bible says they are going to be cast out as improbable servants. They are going to go to hell. They think they are believers. They are going to be damned by deception. They are going to trust in some false doctrine of security...they are told they are believers. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:5-6

Isaiah 42:18-25
(verse 18) Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
(verse 19) Who [is] blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger [that] I sent? who [is] blind as [he that is] perfect, and blind as the LORD'S servant?
(verse 20) Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
(verse 21) The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make [it] honourable.
(verse 22) But this [is] a people robbed and spoiled; [they are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
(verse 23) Who among you will give ear to this? [who] will hearken and hear for the time to come?
(verse 24) Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
(verse 25) Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it] not to heart.Isaiah 42 verses 18-25. He has made His Word so clear. Why don't you understand? ....people are compromising in their life...A little child could understand that. Why do you not understand? You are confusing it because you are not of God. You are not hearing it in the heart because you really don't want to pay the price... There was a lust. They couldn't let it go. They lusted after the things of this world. They lusted after something."
And so because these people refused to listen to truth, God gave them over to their delusions and lusts (John 8:45And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not.John 8 verse 45).
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Isaiah 66:4
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
Jesus has revealed in John 8 how to tell what's counterfeit and what is genuine. Here are three ways of how to tell the counterfeit.
- Counterfeit believers are blind to the bondage and slavery they are under, and they get mad if you try to show them (John 8:31-33(verse 31) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;
(verse 32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
(verse 33) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?John 8 verses 31-33). - They won't even believe Jesus when He calls them fornicators and adulterers. They won't even believe Jesus. (John 8:41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, [even] God.John 8 verse 41)
- Rather than deal with the sin, they try to switch the blade by crying "don't judge." (John 8:48, 53(verse 48) Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
(verse 53) Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?John 8 verses 48, 53)
Here is a strong warning to the apostate church. The scripture says "REPENT NOW" lest thee be left out of Heaven.
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are EVIL: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are NOT, and hast found them LIARS: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and REPENT, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou REPENT.
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:1-7
