In some churches and religious television programs, we see an effort to make Christianity popular and always positive. This may be a comfortable cushion for those who find the hard facts too difficult. The enemy is raising up ministers who will minister to that spirit of covetousness... in the last days there shall come scoffers walking after their own lusts and saying 'where's the promises of His coming because all things continue as they were.'
Who are these scoffers? I'm telling you it's not the drug addict, it's not the atheist, it's not the homosexual in your face, violent crowd, it's not the secularists, it's not the communists or the atheists. These are those who turned aside tin ears to another gospel... the only way they can live that life, the only way to get rid of the guilt, the only way you can give yourself to the spirit of greed is to put out of your mind that JESUS IS COMING and so they stop at that message because it's a message of condemnation and guilt against greed and against lust. The Bible says there's gonna come mockers and scoffers in the last days saying "Where is the promise of His coming? Everything continues as it was." They're saying "It's always gonna be good... The Holy Ghost has left most of the churches. The devil has sent jezebel into the churches to lure people deeper into sin. People are having counterfeit (demonic) "religious experiences" that they give credit to God for but it is not from God. These people are being deceived with a counterfeit. God cannot bless a people who refuse to SEPARATE THEMSELVES FROM THE WORLD. Read Isaiah 56:10-12
(verse 10) His watchmen [are] blind: they are all ignorant, they [are] all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
(verse 11) Yea, [they are] greedy dogs [which] can never have enough, and they [are] shepherds [that] cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
(verse 12) Come ye, [say they], I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant.Isaiah 56 verses 10-12. David Wilkerson once said,
You know why the church is becoming more like Hollywood than Jesus? I'll show it to you. It's because we have greedy dogs in the pulpit... Dumb dogs. They cannot bark anymore... greedy dogs... The Bible talks a lot about wealth and possessions. When God says that he wants us wealthy it does not mean financially and materially. There is nothing wrong with having money or material possessions but the people who preach and follow this 'prosperity gospel' have crossed over into what becomes witchcraft.
As usual 95% of Christians fail to use discernment, yield to media manipulation, and embrace this "sugar coated" siren of witchcraft along with the deluded mass of the population little heeding a wide array of Biblical admonitions not to open the door to Satan who comes to devour as a roaring lion. -Michael Sherif-

When your will, mind, and emotions get involved to the point of manipulating people and things to have your way then it becomes witchcraft. Read Word of Faith OR Law of Attraction? God would never be part of helping a person heap all they can for themselves.
I know exactly what this lady in the video is saying because I was there myself. I have had many people to convince me that God would curse me if I did not give my 10% to the church. Pastor Rod Parsley would preach that to the point that not only if you were not paying your tithe but also not attending every service that God would never allow you into heaven.
Tithing does not always mean giving money. It is so easy to become influenced and manipulated by all sorts of heresy's. We should be going directly to God Himself as to what He would have us to do and not our peers.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2
In the video Preacher Pimps of L.A. you hear one of these preachers emphasize the following scripture in order to support their obsession for money and material wealth.
"PROSPER" and "HEALTH" in this Scripture have NOTHING TO DO WITH MONEY! Good grief! I feel like a broken record but too many people are not listening or reading. The Scriptures speak about SPIRITUAL HEALTH and SPIRITUAL PROSPERITY. This is the very thing that the churches have become depleted of. It is only worldly people who make the wrong assumptions and interpretations from Scripture, and obsess and lust for the worldly things.

Sacrifice oneself to spread God's Word? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Anyone who feels they are sacrificing their life to tell others about Jesus needs to give it up. You cannot be a genuine Christian and say that it is a sacrifice for you and that the only reason you preach God's Word is so you can gain material wealth. The lust for material wealth is a huge red flag that you have never saved.
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 1:11
It's interesting how these preachers have taken this one Scripture out of context. The book of 3 John is talking about people being put out of the church (like I was). John had written an earlier letter to the church but Diotrephes who loved to assert his control over the church out of his own personal ambition (1 Peter 5:1-5(verse 1) The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
(verse 2) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight [thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
(verse 3) Neither as being lords over [God's] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
(verse 4) And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
(verse 5) Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.1 Peter 5 verses 1-5)...
Read more about this at Persecution in the End Times. If anyone would bother to read the entire book of 3 John then they would find out that God called what they were doing as 'EVIL.'
Wake up, people! These preachers care NOTHING ABOUT YOU! All they want is your money. If you lose your job, or home, or car, or have no food to eat do not expect these televangelists to bail you out. They are crafty in how to manipulate you into giving them money!!! They do not generously give away everything that comes into the storehouse. They are "takers" only.
