The 'Prosperity Gospel' Lie

The American Gospel of Greed

Prosperity Gospel for Dummies

TBN was never hurting for money when Paul, Jan, Matt and Laurie and others had money to go out and buy homes all over the country and live like royalty. I specifically remember Paul and Jan speaking many years ago that they still lived in their modest home in California. It was a freaking LIE! Jan can turn on the water works to get people to sympathize with her. These preachers are ACTORS! They can appear so real and genuine but they are full of DECEITFUL LIES! They feed off of your emotions!

In the following video TD Jakes talks about all his blessings. While they were valid blessings do you notice how he never says anything about being blessed in spiritual ways by God? This interview has put Jakes on the spot is what I think, and he is trying to, as this man says in the video, trying to distance himself from the prosperity gospel in order to look good to the public. Watch TD Jakes Exposed, Part 1, Part 2.

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. . . And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Matthew 19:21, 29

A 3 million dollar home? A private jet? Get rich off of the church is what too many people enter the ministry for and worse than this is how many thousands of people have no problem with this. I expect this is because the people who are okay with this are just as self-seeking as these false teachers running after the big bucks and willing to do whatever they have to in order to get it.

In the video Creflo Dollar Exposed, Creflo said "Lives changed and hope restored." The only change I see happening is the pride of Satan infiltrating the church. How many sermons do any of these preachers ever preach on 1 Timothy 6:10Bible quoteFor the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.1 Timothy 6 verse 10 or Acts 8:20Bible quoteBut Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.Acts 8 verse 20?

Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him. Ezekiel 18:13

False prophet Marty Layton did this. Give his ministry money and you will be abundantly blessed. Oh, he put it so well and I have this one recorded (audio mp3 file). This was when I gave money, a lot of money. Less than a month later he had me escorted out of the church and publicly humiliated by arresting me. It was for sure that Marty Layton never gave any account of the money I gave to his cult. I never received any kind of statement at the end of the year showing what I gave. I believe he stole it for himself! Hello people! WOE to the silent idiots who insist on keeping quiet about the evils going on. People's minds and mouths seem to be demonically shut off from the truth.

One of the attorney's supporting the practices of current Christian television boastfully stated to Trinity Foundation investigators that televangelists "have the right to defraud the public." So this attorney was ADMITTING that these televangelists ARE DEFRAUDING THE PUBLIC. -Trey Smith, in 'Rise of Dark Faith' video-

This so called covenant stuff crossed the line in the 80's and has went way out in left field. Every time I hear this term "covenant partner" I cringe. It's an attempt as you say to manipulate people. I can see them maybe asking people to "partner" not covenant partner, this is taking the place of their relationship with God and making your covenant promises dependent on them. I agree run...run...run... -TH

What did Jesus say to the rich man?

Ye shall be rich.

Do not go in there! Do not believe him...it's a TRAP.

It is not enough to say with your mouth that you do not 'love' money more than God. Actions speak louder than words. What do I lack? Show yourself willing to follow God. How many people are actually willing to give up everything to follow Jesus? So many people proclaim to be willing but so few ever actually give it all up. It is certainly something very great to think about.

So when someone gives everything they have and these preachers take it and run and some then say "depart from me" and the reply from these false teachers is "You are supposed to give with a cheerful heart. Be content and move on." Read "Lord!, Lord!".

Umm.... this is not what God had in mind. God did not intend for the poor to give all they have to the wealthy so the wealthy can get richer and the rich unwilling to give up all they have to help the poor. This is evil. This is the lesson that these false teachers do not want anyone to hear. Read Matthew 19:13-30Bible quote(verse 13) Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put [his] hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

(verse 14) But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

(verse 15) And he laid [his] hands on them, and departed thence.

(verse 16) And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

(verse 17) And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

(verse 18) He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

(verse 19) Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

(verse 20) The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

(verse 21) Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.

(verse 22) But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

(verse 23) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(verse 24) And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

(verse 25) When his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

(verse 26) But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

(verse 27) Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

(verse 28) And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

(verse 29) And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

(verse 30) But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last [shall be] first.Matthew 19 verses 13-30
.

These prosperity teaching preachers believe that 'money is power' but the Bible says that 'knowledge is power' (Proverbs 4:7Bible quoteWisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.Proverbs 4 verse 7, Proverbs 8:10-11Bible quote(verse 10) Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

(verse 11) For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.Proverbs 8 verses 10-11
). Wisdom is far greater than material possessions. To find knowledge and wisdom may cost your whole life. I believe this is exactly what we see happening right now. This is why few will follow the narrow road and most people follow the broad road. More people are willing to give up their souls for material possessions, money, and fame finding 'power' in these things instead of God.

God Tests Abraham

Genesis 22 records the story of God testing Abraham. God speaks to Abraham asking him for a burnt sacrifice. The lamb God was asking to be sacrificed was not the animal. It was Abraham's son, Isaac.

Hebrews 11:17 recounts this story.

"By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son."

Abraham physically took his son and placed him on the altar then God stopped him seconds before actually killing his son. God wanted to know if Abraham loved Him or his son more.

This is the story that God brought to my mind in reply to people's hostility to "Is money your 'god'"?

Genesis 22 says it all. Money and material wealth most often becomes people's 'god' whether they admit to it or not. Until a person is literally WILLING TO PUT IT ALL ON THE ALTAR as Abraham did Isaac then I find a person's true love quite questionable.

Reminds me also of an end times film called "Judgment" with Nick Mancuso and Leigh Lewis. Helen Hannah's attorney puts the world's messiah in the witness seat then while holding a gun he asked the question,

I would like to call to the stand anyone who is willing to die for Lucifer. Who here is willing to take this bullet? Come on, isn't anyone here willing to save him? Don't you want to save your 'god'?
