When Anger is not Sin

I am Italian and Italians are known to be hot tempered. There could be truth to that. However, what I am about to write is to not defend my culture but rather to point out truths from the Word of God. I first want to speak about when anger IS NOT sin (justifiable anger), then I will speak about when anger IS sin (unjustifiable anger).
Many times over the last twenty years I have heard the church proclaiming that "anger is sin." It has now evolved into a society which says that anyone who demonstrates any little bit of anger has an anger problem, a sin problem, a demon problem and needs to go to ...get this... ANGER MANAGEMENT SCHOOL!
This attitude has perplexed me more and more as the years have gone by until I finally realized what was going on. "The Zombie Apocalypse." Now I believe there are people who can have anger problems especially if they take drugs or are demon possessed or have a drinking problem. Bad habits, stress and a number of factors can create an anger problem. But what I am writing about is justified anger.
God created man and He created man with many different emotions- happiness, hatred, love, sadness, anger, worry and on they go. They are all good and justified. They are what make us HUMAN BEINGS. They give people personality and creativity. Emotions are part of what separate us from all of God's other creations.
So then we have the devil who is at war with God. The devil wants to destroy these emotions. His goal is to dumb down society. Desensitize people and make people like emotionless robots who cannot think for themselves so they will line up to follow him and accept his mark. The government loves stupid people because they will follow without question and never react to anything.
Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love one another
(Matthew 22:35-40
(verse 35) Then one of them, [which was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,
(verse 36) Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
(verse 37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
(verse 38) This is the first and great commandment.
(verse 39) And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(verse 40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.Matthew 22 verses 35-40,
Mark 12:31And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.Mark 12 verse 31).
Discipline and justified anger also come with love sometimes. Sometimes disciplining a child means giving a spanking. Sometimes loving a friend means telling them a truth which hurts. Sometimes exerting anger illustrates passion.
We now live in a society where people are literally fascinated with darkness, vampires and zombies. So many people are drawn to others who are like monotone...EMOTIONLESS. People who are never too happy, never unhappy and most certainly never shows any anger. If someone is too happy then they are labeled a kook. If they are too sad then they are labeled depressed and need drugs. If they have spats of anger then they need anger management school. This is a wacky and sick society.
Justifiable Anger
Jesus Himself expressed emotions throughout the Bible including anger. The Bible says he weeped and laughed too. Read the following scriptures which illustrate anger.
And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. Mark 3:5
But Jesus also experienced intense anger in the following passages. I would call turning over tables a violent, raging anger. This was clearly justified anger.
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:12-13
In Mark 11:18And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.Mark 11 verse 18
even states that the scribes and chief priests "feared" Jesus. Jesus' anger made a profound statement to the people that what they were doing outside the temple was wrong. He did not approach the people with sweetness or as a spineless jellyfish. He approached the people with great intense anger.
And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the temple.
And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. Mark 11:15-18
In John 2:14And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting.John 2 verse 14
says that Jesus made a whip from cords. It is very clear here that Jesus was angry enough to use the whip, turning over tables and yelling.
And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables. And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!" John 2:14-16
The Bible is full of accounts of Jesus and God being angry. So it's a doctrine of demons to say anger is sin and wrong when it's a fact that Jesus in anger cursed a fig tree which wasn't bearing fruit as it was not its' season
(Matthew 21:19-21(verse 19) And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
(verse 20) And when the disciples saw [it], they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
(verse 21) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.Matthew 21 verses 19-21,
Mark 11:20-21(verse 20) And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
(verse 21) And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.Mark 11 verses 20-21).
He made a whip and drove money changers out of the house of God and He didn't use a polite tone about it. I dislike the political correctness of this evil and wicked generation which says it's wrong to get angry about it and show your anger about it! —Walt kam
