What are you giving in exchange for your soul?

Thus they bring judgment on themselves, because they have broken their first pledge. Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to. So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander. Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan. 1 Timothy 5:12-15 (NIV)Bible quote(verse 12) Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

(verse 13) And withal they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

(verse 14) I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

(verse 15) For some are already turned aside after Satan.1 Timothy 5 (KJV) verses 12-15

I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will have nothing to do with us. So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping maliciously about us. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. 3 John 1:9-11 (NIV)Bible quote(verse 9) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

(verse 10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth [them] out of the church.

(verse 11) Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.3 John 1 (KJV) verses 9-11

Woe to him who says he is a Christian - a follower of Jesus Christ knowing not to do these things and does them anyway.

I believe in Jesus. They say, 'God is with me'...this is what you get from people who don't want to break away from the world. They got a career. They're in show business. They're on Broadway. They're on television. They're performers and you get it everywhere you go. 'All I have is what God gave me. All my talents and abilities are gifts He has given to me. I'm doing exactly what God's told me to do. God and I are on good terms.' -David Wilkerson, Listen to entire message at Counterfeit Christianity-

The American Dream...?

In love with the world and rejecting the Word of God. Read The Prosperity Gospel Lie.

Woe to you who worship your church building and preacher. How many of you ever read your Bible and allow God to teach you the interpretation of it instead of following what your preacher or someone else tells you? God is more likely to teach you and speak to you through your own study and time spent alone with Him. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is a personal thing, not a "show." It has nothing to do with how many times you make it into a church building or how good of an act you can put on for your friends. Preachers are not "celebrities." Church is not a place to show off your designer clothing. God could careless how well-known you think you are or how much you paid for your clothes. God is looking for people who follow his commandments and desire to be like His son Jesus.

There's a young lady who started coming here.... she's an excellent concert type pianoist and she has not come in months. She got angry because she was playing in a drinking nightclub and she asked if we could approve what she was doing. Her idea was this 'I'm a child of the King. God opened this door for me. Yes, I do perform where there is a drinking, cursing crowd. Yes, I am in the middle of the wickedness but God put me there as His representative. God told me it was alright.'

I had another young starlet who doesn't come anymore. 'Yes, I play a role that is off-color but that is not the real me. The real me is a lover of Jesus. That's just something I play.' How do you separate the two? You know what my Bible says? Jesus said that He puts forth His own sheep. He goes before them and the sheep follow Him. Does Jesus go before you? Or are you following Him there? -David Wilkerson, Listen to entire message at Counterfeit Christianity-

When the Bible says to assemble ourselves together, it means anywhere.....................not solely to a specific building. The true definition of "church" refers to people - specifically followers of Jesus Christ, NOT A BUILDING or structure.

Woe to him who says he has love in his heart but hates his brother.

A new commandment I give unto you: that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples: if ye have love one for another. John 13:34-35

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:7-11 (NIV)Bible quote(verse 7) But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

(verse 8) And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

(verse 9) Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

(verse 10) As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

(verse 11) If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.1 Peter 4 (KJV) verses 7-11

If a person approaches you with gossip, you should turn away from him. If he continues to approach you, this is not the time to act like a mouse and hide. It is time to get bold as a lion - use your boldness through Jesus to stand up for righteousness and send the devil off with his tail between his legs. Truth should be spoken in boldness and with love. By doing this, others will see Jesus in us.

If you witness a fellow Christian involved in wrong doing, according to Matthew 18:15-17 says to:

[First] "Moreover, if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

[Second] But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that `in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.'

[Third] And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church; but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican.
