The Hard-Core Facts About Jezebel

My personal story about a jezebel encounter

One cannot be passive in its defeat. The ONLY way to defeat this demonic spirit of Jezebel is to stand firm and fierce with the power of God against her controlling and manipulative spirit. Never back down. Never compromise. Be aggressive with the Word of God.

The "power of God" IS THE WORD OF GOD. Jezebel hates the Word of God. KEEP SPEAKING KJV SCRIPTURE OUT LOUD when you are alone and also when opportunity is given speak Scripture to the person who has this spirit. Ask for God's protection over yourself and your family. And always pray for your enemies according to Matthew 5:44Bible quoteBut I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.Matthew 5 verse 44. If the devil can get you to hate those who harm you then he has won. Never let the devil have the victory. If the person happens to express any signs of wanting to be free from this demonic spirit, then take a look at the resources below.

The good news is that God gives each individual person the freedom of choice. Everyone has the freedom to make decisions, to make mistakes, to think for himself, to communicate, to like or dislike and to express his taste and creativity.

Those who control are in worship of their own wills and their own ways. Thank God for freedom.

If you recognize any of these traits in your own life, begin by praying this prayer.

Father, I acknowlege that I have yielded myself to the spirit of Jezebel. I come to you, humbling myself before you. I desire your standard of righteousness and holiness. I ask you to forgive me for my tolerance of the Jezebel spirit and for being sympathetic to its ways. Please forgive me for every way I have opened myself up to this spirit. Help me to ruthlessly reject every type of this thinking and the desire to control and manipulate other people. I renounce and bind this demon of Jezebel, and I pull down this stronghold in my life. Through the Holy Spirit I will live by your standard of righteousness, holiness and conduct. Open my eyes and cause Your light to expose any darkness, and help me to walk in humility and truth.

In Jesus Name, AMEN!

There is a 'good jealousy' and a 'bad jealousy'

Created to be lovers

Writer: Charles Stanley | intouch.org

Jealousy is typically an undesirable, negative emotion. As James 3:16 (NLT)Bible quoteFor where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.James 3 (KJV) verse 16 says,

For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

But a verse from the Old Testament gives a different impression of the word: Deuteronomy 5:9Bible quoteThou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me.Deuteronomy 5 verse 9 says, "...for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God."

This isn't a contradiction. You see, jealousy has a second, more positive meaning that has almost become lost in modern culture. It describes how God vigilantly guards your love for Him. We were created to love the Lord and be loved by Him. So anything that competes for your devotion simply does not fit your life purpose.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Luke 10:27

Without complete devotion to Him, we would pursue our own interests and neglect godly principles and goals. No idol, whether it's a person, a dream, or an item, is worthy of worship. But a holy and just God deserves and demands our total loyalty and surrender. He loved us enough to send His Son Jesus Christ to die in our place.

The Lord hates idols of every kind because anything that draws our attention away from Him is dangerous. In fact, focusing partially on the Lord is a sure way to forfeit His blessings by stumbling and ensnaring ourselves in sin. For both our protection and His glory, God calls us to be true to His purpose by living in total loyalty and surrender to Him.
