My personal story about a jezebel encounter

This jezebel woman first appeared on the scene out of nowhere. She was supposed to be a roommate. A BIG RED FLAG should go up when you meet a man who rationalizes why he is living with a woman he's not married to and further rationalizes his use of foul language yet claims to be a Christian while he re-interprets the Word of God to accommodate his lifestyle. I had mistaken his easy going, laid back personality for it was truly a Ahab spirit (characteristics of the Ahab spirit). The so called 'platonic' female roommate was Jezebel who easily persuaded this man into living together by using her sympathies on him and 'poor little wounded me' stories and eventually lured him into her bed. When Jezebel began expressing ownership in her victim, Ahab, I stated to her that this man told me that he had no other interest in her. Her reply was "Well, he says that to everybody but he does. I don't know what it is..." Once she learned that I had taken the attentions of her victim was when she began to attack me relentlessly.

Ahab tried for years to get me and Jezbel to be at peace with each other and be friends. I made a sincere attempt to do so but Jezebel did not, and God was showing me who she was and what was going on in the spiritual realm -the evil spirits warring against me- the good vs. evil.

When these events began they occurred like a hurricane. I was taken under Jezebel's demonic spell and I found myself being used as her puppet in a horribly cruel way. There was a great haziness in my head and I kept asking myself what was happening, why was all this happening, what was going on, and what on earth am I saying to this woman whom I don't even know. I became hostile and Ahab became hostile towards me. Jezebel accused me of 'seducing' Ahab when all the while she was the one who seduced him into her bed and he was doing the things that he said he would never do. Many times I found Jezebel imitating me and then she would turn it all around and accuse me of trying to manipulate her victim for his attentions.

The big mistake that I made was continuously trying to speak to 'Ahab' because we were both so weak spiritually and totally ignorant of this evil spirit that it only led to more hostilities. So every time I attempted to speak to him, he perceived me as complaining and he believed that I had no right to be angry even though Jezebel had just forced our relationship to part and she had said and done horrific things to me. In his eyes 'me' who was exposing jezebel was the problem because Jezebel played herself as the innocent victim while she was actually the instigator.

Two years passed during which time I began realizing that God was trying to tell me something. I had a re-connection with Ahab but this time he was entirely immersed under the control of Jezebel. At this point she ordered his every step and every word. He was like an abused caged animal. He seemed to be afraid to speak to me yet some part of him would demonstrate that he wanted to but he did very little. He continuously passed Jezebel off to me and she began to try to take control over me again. And again I fell under her demonic trance and became her ugly puppet that she could manipulate and make me undesireable to Ahab. I kept trying to figure out why God wanted this re-connection while I kept looking stupid. I could not figure out what was happening or why I kept failing to react in a better way. God kept speaking to me about the situation but I thought that the things I was hearing was just my own hurt until I decided to put in a prayer request to marriagetoday.org and they sent me a book called Freedom From Your Past by Jimmy Evans. My first thought was "Yea right, they're just blowing me off by sending a book." It was a whole year later before I actually decided to open the book and read it. About the middle of the book messages began leaping off the pages at me and I knew that it was again God trying to tell me something. It was at this point that I realized Satan was involved and so was witchcraft so I telephoned a deliverance ministry for help.

Two ladies who were intercessors with this ministry began praying with me and both of them began revealing things to me that CONFIRMED what God had been speaking to me for the last few years - things that I thought were just in my head. This is when I first began learning about the jezebel spirit. They told me that it was God who brought me and this man together and that it was Satan who 'thwarted' the relationship. They said that this woman was a witch, a psychic, with a jezebel spirit. In order for a person to be taken by a jezebel spirit this way they would have to have a weak relationship with the Lord and have an open door somewhere in their life for the devil to wander in. It takes a spiritually weak and ignorant person to become a helper, messenger, slave and eunuch of Jezebel.

It was after meeting with these intercessors that I began to gain strength against Jezebel's attacks because then I learned how to be praying. I then knew what was attacking me and how to come against it. I learned that saying nothing but only using scripture was my greatest defense. I continue to learn more about this evil spirit everyday but I regret to have to say that this "Ahab' has never been released from Jezebel's demonic spell. He lives in total ignorance. He may be demon possessed. He has called jezebel 'beautiful' inside and out, and called me 'ugly' and 'dangerous.' Along with Jezebel he laughed at my pain and kicked me when I was down. He has accused me of making up these stories yet thousands of people in the world today are experiencing these very same events and often Jezebel uses the very same words. The Bible says that we are in a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:10-18(verse 10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

(verse 11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

(verse 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

(verse 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

(verse 14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

(verse 15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

(verse 16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

(verse 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

(verse 18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;Ephesians 6 verses 10-18). We are not fighting against what we can see but what we cannot see.
